Descend down the first 70 feet of open water to view a variety of fish, fossils, and maybe a friendly turtle. Stop along the dive at 30 feet to check out the air bell that made Blue Grotto famous. The bell is located at the ceiling of the cavern and is supplied with compressed air from the surface. The Blue Grotto air bell is a perfect place to stop and talk to your dive buddy. A permanent guide line brings you safely around a crescent shaped cavern at a 100 foot depth. As your dive ascends out of the Blue Grotto cavern, look around and watch your bubbles run up the side of the cavern wall like an upside down waterfall.
